Jane Campion is an icon and doesn’t need any introduction. The New Zealand director made such outstanding movies like: The Piano, An Angel at My Table and The Portrait of a Lady. She’s the only woman-director to be awarded Cannes Golden Palm. Campion will honor this year’s OFF PLUS CAMRERA with her presence at the festival. The artist is going to receive a special prize for the remarkable contribution to the development of the independent cinema – “AGAINST THE CURRENT AWARD” and will participate in the gala premiere of her latest film, Bright Star. OFF PLUS CAMERA has the honor and the privilege to screen some of Jane Campion’s movies that went down in the history of the cinematography, within its special section “Focus on: Jane Campion”.
